Type of ad: Video

Why it’s effective: Video is more likely to grab the attention of your audience, it’s important to consider that you need to capture a user’s attention within the first 3-5 seconds. The better the video, the more likely that it will drive greater engagement - you can then leverage that data to create custom audiences based on ad engagement, this could be targeting those who have viewed your video for a particular amount of time. These audiences are more likely to be interested in your product, by retargeting to them, you can increase your conversion rate and bag a higher ROAS.

If video content isn’t really on your radar at the minute, we highly recommend investing both time and money into creating high quality and engaging video to test. We know from experience the power video ads hold - it’s all about the content!

Type of ad: Collection with slideshow

Why it’s effective: Collection ads are a little like carousel ads in that the goal is to feature multiple products - You can choose a featured image or video, create a slideshow using images, or even opt for a dynamic slideshow. When a user clicks onto the ad they are taken to a landing page showcasing your product feed (oh yes, to use this ad format you need to link up your product catalogue to your business manager and ad account!).

This type of ad is highly valuable and usually results in high engagement and conversion rates, we highly recommend considering using them within your paid social strategy if you’re not already.

Type of ad: Pinterest carousel

Why it’s effective: A carousel on Pinterest is a pin with multiple images. Users see the carousel within their home feed just like any other Pin - they can swipe through the different images directly from the feed.

As with Facebook and Instagram, a carousel is a great way to showcase multiple products - or different ways to showcase one product. NFD has fabulous content, high quality imagery that is both eye-catching and always includes people which means it will likely resonate more with their audience.

NA-KD

Type of ad: Carousel

Why it’s effective: Carousel ads are an awesome way to promote your products - you can get creative and have fun with them! According to Kinetic Social these types of ads can drive up to 10 x more traffic to advertisers’ websites than static image ads. You can use between 3-10 images or videos - each card has a headline, description and it’s own link and CTA.

NA-KD uses images with models wearing their products and also includes some of their brand USP’s which is always great to showcase in order to give the user more reason to buy!
